About the Artwork
Are the paintings original?
Each piece is partially digital, and hand-finished / glazed in studio by Elaine. This includes brushwork, texture, and detail. Every frame is hand-gilded in either gold leaf or champagne (silver) leaf.
Are custom sizes available?
Not typically. All available sizes variants are shown in the catalog and conform to industry standard dimensions and proportions.
Can I customize the color scheme for paintings?
Yes! While the core composition remains consistent, I can tailor background tones, texture and accent details to harmonize with your personal preferences.
Can I commission or purchase a one-of-a-kind original?
Not at this time. Compositional suggestions are welcome, but the focus is on original technique with fine art reproduction in a consistent, signature style.

Retail Customers
- Sales Tax: We collect Louisiana state sales tax on all orders shipped within Louisiana.
- Payment: Orders are processed securely at checkout using Stripe (credit card or digital wallet).
Shipping:
- All paintings ship framed
- Production time is typically 2–6 weeks
- Orders ship from New Orleans, Louisiana via UPS Ground
- Cancellations: If you need to change or cancel your order, contact us promptly. We'll do our best to accommodate if production hasn't yet begun.
- Damaged or incorrect order? Just call or email us — we’ll make it right.
Wholesale Customers
- Preferred pricing and terms may be available for approved Stocking Retailers and Galleries, Trade Representatives (Interior Designers), and Hospitality / Contract projects.
- Verification and, when applicable, a resale/commercial certificate may be required; minimum annual commitments apply.

- For express enrollment, please visit our booth at the Atlanta or High Point markets.
Shipping & Fulfillment
- All shipments are by UPS originating from the New Orleans area
- We currently ship to U.S. addresses only
- UPS tracking is provided once your artwork ships
- If you have a deadline or special request, please contact us before placing your order
- Returns & Damage
- Each piece is made to order. As such, we do not accept returns after shipping unless the item is damaged or incorrect.
- If something arrives broken or isn’t right, just call or email us — we’ll make it right.
Privacy
- We respect your privacy and never sell or share your personal data.
- When you sign in with Google, we only collect your name, email address, and basic profile information to personalize your experience and securely manage your account. You may revoke access anytime via your Google Account.
- To enhance your experience, we may use AI tools — including those provided by OpenAI — to assist with answering questions, guiding you through the site, or offering product information. These tools are used thoughtfully, and we do not use them to collect sensitive personal data.
Text Messaging Policy
Digital Consent (Online / Checkout / Form)
When you check the box to receive text messages from Elaine Gleason Studio, you agree that we may send you text messages related to:
- your orders and shipping updates,
- account security and verification codes (2-factor authentication), and
- customer support.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can get help at any time by replying HELP to any message or by contacting us at elaine@elainegleason.com / +1 (504) 499-1411. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- By opting in digitally, you confirm that the phone number you provide is yours and that you consent to receive these messages from Elaine Gleason Studio.
Verbal Consent (Phone or In-Person)
You may also provide consent verbally during a phone call or in-person conversation with Elaine Gleason Studio. In that case, we will confirm that you agree to receive text messages about:
- your orders and shipping / delivery updates,
- account verification codes, and
- customer support and service follow-up.
- We will tell you that message and data rates may apply, that message frequency varies, and that you can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. If you say “yes,” we record that consent (date, time, and what you agreed to) so we can honor your preferences.
- We do not add any phone number to automated or recurring texts without clear consent.
Stopping Messages / Getting Help / Restarting
- You may opt out of automated texts at any time by replying STOP to any message. When you do, we will stop sending further automated messages to that number.

- If you previously opted out and would like to resume receiving texts, you can reply START to restart messaging.
- Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- In some cases, Elaine may reach out personally via text to clients or contacts who have voluntarily provided their phone number — for example, at art shows, retail meetings, or through business cards. These 1-to-1, conversational texts are not part of our automated messaging program.
- Your privacy matters. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with anyone except our texting service provider, and will only be used to send the types of messages described above.

Products & Made-to-Order Production
- Many items are made to order. For framed artwork, production typically takes 2–6 weeks, unless otherwise stated.
- Minor variations may occur due to the hand-finished nature of our work.
Pricing & Quotes
- Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise.
- Quotes are valid for [14] days unless otherwise stated in writing.
- We may correct pricing or listing errors; if this impacts your order, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
Payment Terms
- Retail orders (online checkout):
- Payment is collected at checkout via Stripe (credit card / digital wallet).
- Wholesale orders (approved reseller accounts):
- Wholesale eligibility requires an approved account and, when applicable, a valid resale certificate.
- Payment timing depends on the order channel and account status:
- Online wholesale orders: payment is collected at checkout unless otherwise agreed.
- Offline/invoiced wholesale orders (established accounts): payment terms may be available by agreement (e.g., pay prior to shipment).
- ACH requirement for larger wholesale orders:
- For wholesale orders over $2,000, payment must be made by ACH (or check) prior to shipment unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- Credit card payment may be declined or refunded (minus any non-refundable processing fees charged by the payment provider, if applicable) if it conflicts with this policy.
Sales Tax & Resale Certificates
- Louisiana sales tax is collected on orders shipped within Louisiana, unless a valid exemption applies.
- Wholesale customers claiming resale/exemption must provide a valid resale certificate (and any other required documentation). If not provided, tax may be charged.
Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss
- Orders ship from the New Orleans area via UPS Ground (unless otherwise arranged).
- We currently ship to U.S. addresses only.
- Shipping timelines are estimates; carrier delays and production delays can occur.
- Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery (carrier scan showing delivery). If a package is marked delivered but missing, you agree to cooperate with carrier claims and investigations.
Inspection, Damage, and Incorrect Orders
- Please inspect your shipment immediately upon delivery.
If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, notify us within 5 business days of delivery.
Include:
- order number,
- a description of the issue,
- photos of the item, and
- photos of the packaging and shipping label (this is often required for UPS claims).
If damage or error is confirmed, we will, at our option:
- repair,
- replace, or
- issue an appropriate refund/credit.
Cancellations & Changes
- If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
- Before production begins: we will do our best to accommodate changes or cancellations.
- After production begins: cancellations are not accepted, and changes may not be possible.
- Custom work (including requested color tailoring or special configurations) may be non-cancellable once started.
Returns
- Because items are made to order, returns are not accepted after shipment except in cases of verified damage or incorrect fulfillment.
- Any approved return must be authorized by us in writing and may require return shipping in original packaging.
Wholesalers
Wholesale orders are intended for resale by approved retailers/designers and may have different pricing, minimums, and terms.
- We reserve the right to revoke wholesale access if resale conditions, brand presentation, or account requirements are not met.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product(s).
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits or business interruption).
Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- Venue for disputes shall be Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Updates to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time you place an order will apply to that order.
